The arrival of summer transforms Haut-de-Cagnes. As the evenings lengthen and the heat of the day gives way to the balmy nights, Place du Château becomes the stage for the most beautiful nights on the Riviera.

This season, music reclaims its place in our historic square. On Sunday, June 21st, the Fête de la Musique (Music Festival) kicks off the summer; a wonderful opportunity to bring families together for Father's Day. Then, every Friday, Jazz at the Castle extends the musical interlude. The terrace of the Le Village restaurant offers one of the best front-row seats to enjoy these open-air evenings.

Sunday, June 21st — Fête de la Musique (Music Festival)

To celebrate the summer solstice, Haut-de-Cagnes is electrifying. From 9:00 PM, the Place du Château will vibrate to the rhythm of FRAGGL’ROCKGet ready for a bold and electrifying Punk Rock repertoire that will shake the very stones of the castle! The perfect opportunity to dine al fresco while enjoying an electric, festive, and totally carefree atmosphere.

Saturday, June 27 — The 80th Anniversary of Château Grimaldi

The Château-Musée is celebrating its 80th anniversary. Starting at 7 p.m., an anniversary evening designed as the cultural highlight of this early summer. From 8:30 p.m., the Château will be transformed into a unique experience: a medieval evening immersing participants in a truly special atmosphere.

Jazz at the Château: The summer event

From Friday, June 26th to September 11th, 2026, the prestigious festival celebrates its 23rd edition. The event takes on the feel of a true open-air jazz club: a vibrant program, intimate ensembles, and an atmosphere inspired by the cabarets of the Roaring Twenties. (Free concerts, 1.5 hours, every Friday at 9 pm).

The Big Band and talents from the Cagnes-sur-Mer Conservatory. A rich and varied repertoire conducted by Linus Olsson.
Gatsby & 1920s Atmosphere
July 3 — Frankie Rochester Trio
From "Jazz Pop Fusion" with a New York flavor. Suggested dress code: boa, long gloves, suspenders...
July 10 — Accordion Project Quartet
A surprising immersion from Baroque music to Brazilian jazz, by way of Argentine tango.
Bronx/New York Vibes
July 17 — Laurent Epstein Quartet
A masterful rediscovery of iconic French film melodies by one of the most sought-after pianists on the jazz scene.
Jazz Under the Stars of Rio
July 24 — Manu Le Prince Quartet
The great classics of Brazilian music (Antonio Carlos Jobim, Johnny Alf...) performed by an exceptional voice.
July 31 — Swinguys
Violin, double bass, guitar, and drums for an irresistible swing with Gypsy and Roma influences.
August 7 — Papaya Jazz Flashback
An enchanting journey revisiting Disney and Pixar classics through the lens of jazz. Perfect for all generations!
August 14 — Licks & Brains
The event! An 18-piece "soul groove" jazz group led by Rolf Delfos. Spectacular arrangements (Gainsbourg, Piaf...).

August 21 — The Jazz Bicravers
From the Roaring Twenties in Paris to New Orleans. The riffs of Django Reinhardt resonate! Dress code: all in white.
