The arrival of summer transforms Haut-de-Cagnes. As the evenings lengthen and the heat of the day gives way to the balmy nights, Place du Château becomes the stage for the most beautiful nights on the Riviera.
This season, music returns to our historic square. On Sunday, June 21st, the Fête de la Musique (Music Festival) kicks off summer at Haut-de-Cagnes; a wonderful opportunity to bring families together for lunch or dinner to celebrate Father's Day. Then, every Friday, Jazz au Château (Jazz at the Castle) extends the musical interlude to the Place du Château (Castle Square). The terrace of the Le Village restaurant offers one of the best vantage points to enjoy these open-air evenings.
Fête de la Musique at Haut-de-Cagnes: Sunday, June 21st
To celebrate the summer solstice, Haut-de-Cagnes will be electrified. Sunday, June 21st, starting at 9:00 PMThe Place du Château will vibrate to the rhythm of FRAGGL’ROCK.
Get ready for a bold and electrifying Punk Rock repertoire that will shake the very stones of the castle! The perfect opportunity to dine al fresco while enjoying an electric, festive, and totally uninhibited atmosphere.
Jazz at the Château: The summer event
Starting the following Friday, the pace changes, but the magic remains. From June 26 to September 11, 2026the prestigious "Jazz au Château" festival celebrates its 23rd edition.
This year, the event takes on the feel of a true open-air jazz club. A vibrant program, intimate performances, and an atmosphere inspired by the cabarets of the Roaring Twenties.
These free concerts, lasting 1 hour 30 minutes, take place every Friday at 9 p.m. (except for the opening night at 8 p.m.).

Saturday, June 27: The 80th Anniversary of the Grimaldi Castle-Museum
The Grimaldi Castle celebrates its 80th anniversary and opens its doors for an exceptional moment of sharing and showcasing its history. Join us Saturday, June 27th, starting at 7pmin the Castle Square for an anniversary evening designed as the highlight of the city's cultural life this early summer.
The program includes activities and discovery sessions throughout the evening, culminating in the symbolic celebration of the 80th anniversary cake, in the presence of the public.
Starting at 8:30 pm, the Château transforms into a unique historical experience: a medieval evening designed as a lively event, immersing participants in a singular atmosphere. This event reflects the desire to make Grimaldi Castle and Haut-de-Cagnes vibrant, accessible, and emblematic of Cagnes-sur-Mer's cultural influence.

July 10 — Accordion Project Quartet
A surprising immersion from Baroque music to Brazilian jazz, by way of Argentine tango.
July 17 — Laurent Epstein Quartet
A masterful rediscovery of iconic French film melodies by one of the most sought-after pianists on the jazz scene.
July 24 — Manu Le Prince Quartet
The great classics of Brazilian music (Antonio Carlos Jobim, Johnny Alf...) performed by an exceptional voice.
July 31 — Swinguys
Violin, double bass, guitar, and drums for an irresistible swing with Gypsy and Roma influences.
August 7 — Papaya Jazz Flashback
An enchanting journey revisiting Disney and Pixar classics through the lens of jazz. Perfect for all generations!
August 14 — Licks & Brains
The event! An 18-piece "soul groove" jazz group led by Rolf Delfos. Spectacular arrangements (Gainsbourg, Piaf...).
August 21 — The Jazz Bicravers
From the Roaring Twenties in Paris to New Orleans. The riffs of Django Reinhardt resonate! Dress code: all in white.
August 28 — Les Accordes Swing
The essentials of French chanson and English pop (Rita Mitsouko, Bowie, The Police) with a swing twist.
Sept. 4 — Sheik of Swing
Heirs to the great Django Reinhardt, they bring to life the swing of the Roaring Twenties and the rhythms of Eastern Europe.
Sept. 11 — Romano Dandies
An invitation to travel and celebrate Gypsy music through the languages of Eastern Europe to end the summer in style.

During these events, Haut-de-Cagnes comes alive, and our terrace becomes the epicenter of the evening. To guarantee yourself a prime table for the concerts, reservations are essential.
